one of the corporate sponsors of the Robert Gamez
Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament (www.robertgamezproam.com)
that opens today.
Each year the Robert Gamez
Foundation’s Pro-Am event is a major attraction, pairing
amateur golfers with a celebrity and PGA Tour
professional to benefit more than 15 local charities
aimed at improving the lives of children. The Pro-Am
event takes place at the renowned Celebration Golf Club,
whose course is one of the highest rated in Florida.
Other events planned include celebrity chef cooking
demonstrations and fine food and wine sampling, as well
as an opening night Celebrity Bash featuring
entertainment by Hootie & the Blowfish. Proceeds from
this year’s philanthropic event are expected to exceed
$400,000, with 100% destined for worthy causes.
